Mosjoens Camping

From Orsa towards Umea, we decided to stop at Husum because the weather was not
agreeing with us today. It was raining and it is starting to be late.

Orsa Camping, Sweden

Where I live is about 60 degrees north and we are heading 71 degrees this summer. I have been asking my husband for a long time to take me to the North of Norway but we just didn't have the time and besides it costs much more to have a vacation in Norway than other places in the world. Now that we have the time and the budget, we are doing it! Car trip to the north.

Jessheim - Kongsvinger
Kongsvinger - Charlottenberg, Sweden
Charlottenberg - Orsa (our first stop)

Generally, Orsa camping in Dalarna is ideal for families. Playgrounds, Mini-golf, bowling, restaurant, kiosk, boat and bike rental are available. Common kitchen, bathroom and toilets. If I can avoid public toilets, I would. Unfortunately, I cannot avoid them with a trip like this. From our cabin to the toilet, it was about 100 meters. Ugh. We payed 520 Swedish Kroner.

FYI, Dalarna is the home of Orsa Bear Park (which we might take on another trip).
